Visiting van Werven

In our research of how to recycle plastics we came across a big recycle company called van Werven. This big recycle company is situated in Biddinghuizen and 11 other locations in and outside of Holland. They have in common that they are looking for real and authentic solution within this branche. Thats why we wanted to visit them and see how they work.

After an interesting conversation about the project, we went into the plant where Rob Labots told us everything about how the whole process of plastic recycling works. They sort out all the different types of plastics first, then they clean it, shred it and sort it again with a infra red light. Then it is shredded into really tiny pieces filled in really big bags to be sold.
